Joni and Friends Italia was instituted in 1999. The main purpose of the association is to increase awareness about the ministry towards the disabled persons. The means to achieve this goal are articles, radio broadcasts, taking part in meetings and evangelistic conferences, and personal contacts. The result of this work has been the growth in number of the people and churches interested in the ministry from several regions of Italy. 

Here is a list of our main activities:

• Conferences about disability · 
• Distribution of "Joni's Story" leaflets during special occasions · 
• "Special deliveries" in clinics and hospitals · 
• "Hearts in Motion" Bible Studies in churches · 
• Fund raising Bazars and Concerts in churches · 
• "Wheels for the World" distributions
